The response from everyone on Houses for Haiti day has been amazing. People have been so generous and it will make a difference to so many families. All aboard... Year 4 will be investigating maps, journeys, different countries and civilizations this term. We will also be finding out about different explorers too.

We had a great time at Berkswell. Some people are going back to visit the museum when it opens. There is a great contrast between life in villages like Berkswell and city life that we experience in Coventry.

      In the Spring Term Year 3 will be learning all about the animal kingdom. As part of the topic they will be taking trips to the farm and the zoo. They will be writing reports about the animals they research too.

In the Spring Term Year 6 will be looking at Britain since the 1930s. In particular they will be looking at changes in everyday life from before World War 2 to the post war era. Keep watching this space for an update on their progress.

Many of you will know that Potters Green is always looking for ways to be more eco-friendly. One of the exciting projects started this year is our vegetable garden. I'm sure that lots of you already grow your own at home. If you haven't already, why not give it a try!
